Hwy 1 east of Revelstoke to be closed until the afternoon

Hwy 1 is expected to remain closed until the afternoon after a vehicle incident east of Revelstoke.

The road closure will extend until about 1 pm because it coincides with avalanche control work from 11 am.

The avalanche work is being done in Glacier National Park, between Creek Bridge and Hemlock Grove Boardwalk.

No detour is available.
