The Kamloops Blazers were back in action on Wednesday, proving that more shots on net are always better! 

Kamloops took on the Regina Pats in Saskatchewan and won by a score of 4-2. The Blazers played in front the whole game, outshooting the Pats 47 to 23 in the process. 

In the first period, Orrin Centazzo scored the only goals. His 16th and 17th of the year put Kamloops up comfortably going into the second frame. 

Regina scored the first goal of the second before Logan Stankoven buried his 10th of the season. The Blazers held a 3-1 lead going into the final period. 

In the third, Ryan Hughes would add an insurance marker before Dylan Garand gave up one with a minute left to go. 

Speaking of Garand, he did all he needed to do, stopping 21 shots in the game. Kamloops won the special teams battle, finishing with a goal on the power-play and shutting out Regina on the penalty kill. 

With the win, the Blazers remain four points up on the Kelowna Rockets for first place in the BC Division. 

Up next, Kamloops heads to Saskatoon for a Friday tilt against the Blades. Puck drop at the SaskTel Centre is at 5 pm.
