If you’re interested in “breaking a leg” it just might be your time to shine.

On Wednesday, Kelowna Actors Studio announced their audition times for the 2016/17 season.

You could have the chance to perform in upcoming shows like Rocky Horror, A Christmas Story – The Musical, Chicago, Anne of Green Gables – The Musical, The Great Gatsby, The Glass Menagerie and Billy Elliot.

So far, all roles are up for grabs.

Adult and youth auditions will take place on June 12 from 9:30 a.m. until noon, for children ages 8 to 13, and noon to 6 p.m. for adults.

More adult auditions will also continue on June 14.

If auditioning for a musical you will have to sing 16 bars of music from a Broadway song that best shows off your voice. You are asked to bring sheet music in the correct key so someone can play the piano for you.

You also have to prepare A one minute monologue of your choice, and undergo a short group movement exercise.
