Something special is going on at Big White. 

The resort has seen 25 centimetres of snowfall over the last 24 hours. 

“WOW,” the team at the hill said this morning. 

“Mother nature has really delivered the goods overnight – 19 cm has fallen in just 12 hours.” 

They added: "Get those sick notes handed in and get out there for some fresh turns!”

The seven-day snowfall total is now at 60 cm, while the snow base is 290 cm. 

It’s also a delightful -4ºC at Big White as of 7 am this morning.

Winds are light, skies obscure and visibility limited. 

There are 15 lifts and 119 runs open. 

And as if things couldn’t get any better, it’s also Trivia Night at the resort (from 7 pm to 9 pm).
