    Woman arrested after stabbing another woman in Prince George

    A woman has been arrested after stabbing another woman in Prince George on Sunday morning. 

    The victim was taken to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. 

    It happened at about 10:10 am around the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue. 

    A 28-year-old woman was arrested less than 10 minutes after police were called. 

    She was taken into custody near 4th Avenue and Queensway. 

    Mounties said Mandy Kathaleen Trahan has been charged by the BC Prosecution Service with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
