  • Wet and windy with a chance for snow at high elevations on Tuesday

Bundle up Kelowna! It’s going to be a chilly Tuesday.

October's early trend of rain and wind will continue, according to today’s forecast.

The valley is expected to have a rainy day, and at higher elevations we should even see some snow, says NowMedia meteorologist Wesla English.

"A windy and showery day is ahead as this weather system tracks across our region but then a drier and sunnier pattern is ahead by tomorrow in the wake of the low," says English.

"Daytime highs will remain below seasonal near 10 C in the valley but a threat of snow will remain in the forecast for summit areas."
