If you’re looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday afternoon, you won’t have to go farther than the Westside Wine Trail.

On June 5, wineries along the well-known route are inviting visitors on a free tasting for the fourth annual Sip into Summer event.
People are invited to pop in at each winery and take part in a blind taste test, try out some brand new summer whites and enjoy the live entertainment in the sun.

From noon to 5 p.m., guests can enjoy everything from fresh bread to tacos, jazz music to the accordion and patio-friendly wines from Gewurtztraminer to ice wine.
Participating wineries include Beaumont Organic Estate Winery, Ciao Bella Winery, Kalala Organic Estate Winery, Indigenous World Winery, Little Straw Vineyards, Mt Boucherie Family Estate Winery, Mission Hill Family Estate Winery, Off the Grid Organic Winery, Quails’ Gate Estate Winery, Rollingdale Winery, the hatch and Volcanic Hills Estate Winery.

Winery sommeliers and staff are setting out to teach people, test them on their wine knowledge and talk about perfect wine pairings for summer.
Visitors are encouraged to start at either end of the trail, at Glencoe Road or Boucherie Road.
