Breakout West
Breakout West has officially taken over. The five-day festival will make downtown Kelowna its headquarters, setting up workshops and conferences at the Delta Grand throughout the week and live music showcasing across 12 different venues.

World Mixed Curling Championships
The Kelowna Curling Club is playing host to some of the world’s best curlers this weekend and you can soak in all the action from this weekend to next. Click here for the full schedule.

With 35 countries represented and 100 athletes, onsite the event will be a hub for great sport and camaraderie until the competition peaks on Saturday, October 20. Tickets are available online or at the door.
Kelowna Music Showcase
If you want to keep with the live music theme of the weekend, head to Tree Brewing on Saturday afternoon. From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. the popular brewpub will be hosting a musical showcase highlighting the talents of many awesome Kelowna bands.

Fall Ladies Closet Cleanout
Returning for another round, the Kelowna Closet Cleanout is back with its ladies fashion flea market at the Parkinson Rec Centre this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A great place to find thrifted threads of all shapes, sizes, and styles, the event offers something for everyone all at a great discounted price. Not only can you find something new to you, but it is a great way to make shopping environmentally friendly.
Scarecrow Festival
If you feel like getting spooky this Sunday, look no further than the Halloween themed fun offered at the URBA Scarecrow Festival!

The annual event offers up a day of free family fun at Lions Park equipped with crafts, vendors, trick or treating and of course, scarecrow creating. Dress to impress in your autumnal best or scary costumes and head to the event this Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
