Here is your Weekend Need to KNow!
Discover Art in the Valley
An event highlighting various Okanagan artists is scheduled to return this weekend to the Kelowna Curling Club.
Discover Art in the Valley is set to showcase the work of over 50 vendors who specialize in various media as a way to bolster and promote our arts community.
Attendees can browse the artists’ creations, participate in workshops, take in live demonstrations, enjoy live music and more! The event is on from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday — admission is $2!
BNA Birthday Bazaar
One of Kelowna’s most adored watering holes is turning four this Saturday and to celebrate they are obviously having a big party!

To commemorate four years of providing the downtown core with great craft beer, tasty eats and a great place to socialize — BNA is welcoming the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to join them.
Guests can enjoy birthday cake (while supplies last), a special edition of their Cordova anniversary brew and a pop-up market to peruse. Rather than bring them a gift, the BNA crew asks that attendees bring a non-perishable food donation for the Central Okanagan Food Bank.
Walk for Dog Guides
This Sunday at 9 a.m. everyone and their dogs are invited to the Pet Valu parking lot to join in on the annual Walk for Dog Guides!

The event is hosted in 300 communities across Canada as a way to raise awareness and funds for individuals who can benefit from having a support K9. Funds raised will go toward getting a dog for those in need at no cost to them.
So grab your doggo, a leash and your walking shoes to join in on this fun and philanthropic event!
Vernon Vintage Fair
For all of you who love to thrift — head up to Vernon this Sunday afternoon to take in the Vintage Fair at Record City!
