    Poutine Eating Contest

    Hungry? Smoke’s Poutinerie is hosting their annual Poutine Eating Contest on Friday at 6 p.m.

    The timed contest will see competitors go head to head to see who can finish a meal-sized regular poutine the fastest and win the grand prize. Even if you don’t fancy competition there is no doubt this will be a sight to see!

    Kelowna Gem and Mineral Show

    The Kelowna Gem and Mineral Show will conquer the Kelowna Curling Club all weekend long. Crystal enthusiasts don't want to miss out on this event and all the rare gems, fossils and jewelry it brings with it.

    The event kicks off from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and will carry on from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

    GOBF

    The Great Okanagan Beer Fest returns this Saturday to Waterfront Park. Bringing forth over 60 craft breweries from around the province and 100+ beers and ciders for you to try, this outdoor event is not one you’ll want to miss.

    Aside from the brews, you can enjoy live music and delicious food with a great view of the lake. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and tickets are available online. 

    Okanagan Vintage Fair

    Returning yet again is the Okanagan Vintage Fair. A hub for collectors and lovers of all things retro the event boasts vendors selling everything from vintage threads to cameras and records.

    Head over to the Parkinson Recreation Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday to find some pre-loved treasures.

    Mother’s Day

    This Sunday is Mother’s Day, so make sure your mom feels like the queen she is! Whether you take her for a day of wine tasting or a visit to the lavender farm, or make her a handmade gift, this day is all about her.

    Fintry Spring Fair

    The 2018 Fintry Spring Fair returns this Sunday. Explore this historic site and enjoy tons of activities while doing it.
