    Kelowna Falcons Home Opener

    Our boys kick off ball season on Friday night against the Bellingham Bells.

    Hosted at Elks Stadium, the season opener is free for the community to attend and sure to boast some major fun. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.

    Why not road trip to the province’s largest water park?

    That’s right, it is basically summer and to get a head start on making the most of it, Cultus Lake Water Park is opening for the season this Saturday!

    Water Slides, lazy rivers, and plenty of space to sunbathe, this is the best way to ring in summer 2018.

    Hungry Half

    Before hitting the beach, soak up the morning sun and get a little exercise at the Apple Bowl while supporting a worthy cause!

    The Hungry Hungry Half Marathon is back this Saturday at 7 a.m., bringing with it tons of food-themed fun in support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

    Pop by dressed as your favourite food, and participate, there may even be some sweet treats on the way.

    NowPlaying concert series

    This Saturday night, The Kelowna Curling Club is going to be transformed into a concert venue to host a Legend of George Jones tribute show.

    The event will not only boast the talented Duane Steele covering some of country’s most iconic songs, but a great family-friendly way to spend a night out.

    Great food, drinks and of course music, all under one roof!

    Family Fun Ride

    To wrap up Bike To Work Week, there will be a family-friendly bike ride leaving from the Parkinson Recreation Centre this Sunday morning at 9 a.m.

    Not only will you have the chance to explore the city’s beautiful bike paths before ending up at Strathcona Beach, but spend quality time with your family while helping the environment!

    Oyama Fun Day

    Take in all that Oyama has to offer and fun activities this Sunday at the annual Oyama Fun Day. Kicking off with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m., there is fun to last the whole day!

    Attendees can expect a parade, historical displays, children's field activities, food and so much more. The fun carries on until 3 p.m. at 15710 Oyama Road.

    Pups supporting pups

    Do you love dogs and wine? Of course, you do!

    This Sunday at St. Hubertus and Oak Bay Estate Winery, the Okanagan Bernese Meetup group are hosting a fundraiser to support local Service Dog training programs.

    At the event, you will receive endless pup cuddles and smiles, tasty food, stunning winery views and the chance to win some great silent auction prizes from 11 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m.
