Happy Hump Day, Kelowna! Two days more days until the weekend and as always, our busy city will be bursting with great activities and events to take part in.

Paws It Forward Meet & Greet
Those of you looking to add a new addition to the family this year can learn all about some of the eligible furry friends up for adoption this Saturday at Total Pet in Kelowna.

The local pet store will be hosting a “Meet & Greet” event in partnership with Paws It Forward Dog Rescue to answer any questions prospective pup owners may have, as well as to introduce you to some of the four-legged friends looking for a new home.
While you aren’t able to actually adopt the day of, you can pop by the event from 10 am until 1 pm to get to know the pack and ask any questions you may have.
Mamas for Mamas January Swap
Calling all parents! Mamas for Mamas is hosting their recurring swap this Saturday from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club.

Bring your pre-loved clothing, household items, children’s toys and more to swap and trade all day until you eventually wind up with new-to-you goodies! Bonus: Even if you’re unable to bring any items, you’re still able to participate.
Those who plan to bring donations are asked to arrive early in order to set up.
Holistic Market and Psychic Fair
Learn about holistic medicine, natural body care items and alternative healing methods this Sunday from 11 am until 4 pm at the returning Holistic Market.

Hosted at the Laurel Packing House, at the event you will have the opportunity to shop for unique products, try out a tarot card reading or reiki and enjoy a unique afternoon learning something new.
Skating with the Rockets
Grab your family, skates and hockey jerseys to head down to Prospera Place this Sunday to lace up with players from the Kelowna Rockets.

In support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank, a non-perishable food donation is being accepted as admission for this family-friendly event. The fun will run from 1:30 pm until 3 pm!
