Not long after dousing a grass fire near the Okanagan Connector turn off, West Kelowna fire crews were called back into action for a second fire. 

The second brush fire was ignited Wednesday night and investigators have deemed the fire to be suspicious in nature.

RCMP are now asking that anyone with information come forward after a witness reported seeing someone in the area shortly before the blaze began.

West Kelowna fire crews responded to the blaze at Gellatly Road and Carrington Road with 18 personnel from Westbank, Glenrosa, and Lakeview Heights fire halls.

The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
