If you haven’t heard of ‘yodeling kid’ Mason Ramsey, then you have probably been tucked too tightly under a rock.

Mason Ramsey rocketed to internet fame after a video of him serenading a willing Walmart audience with Hank William Sr’s “Lovesick Blues” was plastered across several social media platforms in late March.

The 11-year-old country star’s incipient career has revolved around performances at Coachella music festival and the Grand Ole Opry as well as an interview with television personality Ellen Degeneres in mid-April.

Ramsey is yet another example of the sudden exponential growth that can be caused by a well-timed social media post.

The latest development in Ramsey’s career is the release of his new single “famous,” in which the young singer rattles off a tune about his rapid advance to fame and his preference for love over popularity.
