VIDEO: What have you been smoking?

How much THC (the mind altering chemical) is in that joint?

How much of medicinal CBD (Cannabidiol) is there? Are there pesticides? What about heavy metals or other toxins?

Up to now, there has always been a lot of guesswork.

Zen Labs, a subsidiary of GTEC Holdings, a Kelowna-based Cannabis firm, will be testing samples for hard answers.

The plan is to provide analysis for various licensed producers so people can have more confidence on the content of the product.

Zen Labs Manager Ryan Pincura sat down with KelownaNow to tell us more.

GTEC has numerous legal cannabis companies including cultivation facilities with a particular interest in "craft cannabis."
