VIDEO: School grade shuffle is best for students

Kelowna School District Trustee Rolli Cacchioni said pressures on school space in West Kelowna pushed ahead the timeline, but he said changing the grades for middle school is preferable in any case.

The school board has had some push-back over a shift to grade 6-8 Middle Schools from 7-9 at some Schools. But Cacchioni said studies indicate it's the best grouping for student maturity levels.
