  • VIDEO: Kelowna’s hectic weather pattern highlighted in dramatic timelapse

Anyone who spent Monday outdoors in Kelowna was subject to a little bit of everything weatherwise.

What began as an average overcast morning quickly turned into a heavy rainstorm as dark clouds made their way north up Okanagan Lake.

Thanks to the KelownaNow webcam, perched on the rooftop of the Landmark 6 building, you can have a second look at the wall of cloud engulfing the region.

However, the doom and gloom of the morning didn't last as the timelapse finishes with a beautiful sunny afternoon followed by a gorgeous sunset.

It appears the crazy weather patterns haven't left the valley as some parts of Kelowna could even see snow on Tuesday night!
