More than 100 hundred of the world’s best curlers will be in Kelowna to compete in the Winn Rentals World Mixed Curling Championships from Oct. 13 – Oct 20 at the Kelowna Curling Club.

This is the 4th edition of the event, and the first time it will take place outside of Europe.
“It brings a lot of attention to the club and to curling in Kelowna,” says Jock Tyre, General Manager of the Kelowna Curling Club.

There are 35 countries competing, including Belarus, England, Germany, and Hong Kong.
The event is an open entry for all in the World Curling Federation Member Association. One mixed team (consisting of two women and two men) from each Association can compete.
