VIDEO: Clearwater athlete wins gold medal at X Games Aspen

Millions of viewers watching the X Games Aspen 2020 learned that a regional athlete was definitely built for the moment.

Clearwater's Brett Turcotte took home a gold medal in the "Snow Bike Best Trick" on Sunday.

After scoring a meager 58.33 points on his first run, the self-proclaimed "Redneck Snowmobiler from BC" had a near-perfect trick, scoring him 79.33 points and the gold medal.

Turcotte narrowly edged out Revelstoke's Morgan Kaliszuk who won the silver after scoring 78.33. He was just under four points ahead of Jackson Strong who's 75.66 points got him the bronze.
