Bobby Kennedy has been a council candidate before.  This time he's running for Mayor.  Kennedy and his skateboard shop The Bakery Boardshop made headlines when they began selling cannabis in 2017. At the time the city was shutting down marijuana dispensaries.  Kennedy called it a political science experiment. "We stepped up to the plate to help serve the people, and in doing so we helped many people both recreationally and medicinally."

Kennedy believes the city should implement a local tax on cannabis sales to cash in on legalization.
