Victoria police investigating armed robbery

Victoria police are currently investigating an armed robbery that has sent one person to the hospital.

On April 28, the armed robbery occurred in Esquimalt’s Saxe Point Park.

Officers were called to Saxe Point Park around 8:30 p.m. where they discovered a victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was transported to the hospital, treated and released.

Investigators believe this incident is isolated.

The investigation is ongoing, however, police can confirm that no one was shot and no one has been arrested.
