Residents travelling north should be aware of a closure on Hwy 5.
According to Drive BC, the highway is closed in both directions at Deejay Road due to a vehicle incident.
Crews are currently on scene and an assessment is in progress. At this point, there is a detour available via Barriere Town Road.
There is no estimated time of reopening. NowMedia will update the story when more information is available.
