    Vancouver Island’s Current Swell to play at the Royal Theatre this spring

    Current Swell will be rolling through town this spring, bringing back their high energy performance to VIctoria’s Royal Theatre.

    After a raucous and highly anticipated East Coast tour in 2022, Current Swell is returning to the local stage on April 1, 2023 with Scott Stanton on vocals and guitar, Davers Lang on vocals and guitar, Louie Sadava on bass and vocals, Marcus Manhas on drums, Phil Hamelin on trumpet and keys, and Dave St. Jean on trombone.

    The band was included in the popular Phillips Backyard Weekender concert series this past summer, and have two other shows coming up in Cumberland tomorrow night and in Vancouver in March.

    The last time Current Swell was at the Royal Theatre was pre-COVID, so fans are in for quite a show.

    Tickets for the show go on sale today at 10 am.
