Valentine’s Day Love Story Contest: Our readers will be sending us their love story for us to share in a series of stories. Susan and Adam
Adam and I have known each other since I was born. We lived next door to each other and our parents were very good friends.

Even though Adam was older than me, he used to play with me when our parents got together. Time passed by, Adam's family moved and we lost touch.
Fast forward 25 years and my parents have reunited with their old friends. One day while in Costco, Adam's mother asked to borrow my cell phone. She used it to call Adam about something arbitrary but at the end stated, "This is Susan's phone by the way so now you have her number.”

Sometime a little later we all had dinner together and Adam and I hit it off. He took his mom's advice and called me and we have been together ever since. We love the fact that we can trace back the history together, pictures of us trick or treating or even playing together.
Adam still had the message from his mom on his answering machine. He says he keeps it to remind him of one of the best things that happened to him.
