  • Threat of rain as unsettled day ahead for Kelowna

It could be a wet one today.

NowMedia meteorologist said we have an unsettled day ahead under a northwesterly flow.

“This will keep a threat of precipitation in the forecast this morning,” she explained.

“With snow levels just a bit above the valley base, we will likely see mix precipitation.”

She added, however, that high pressure “will soon build in” and create a clearing later today.

“There is a chance of sun by late this afternoon, and sunny breaks are possible on Thursday as well.

“Daytime highs will remain near or a few degrees above freezing.”

Today’s high is expected to be about 4ºC.
