    UPDATE: Trans Canada reopens west of Revelstoke

    (UPDATE: Feb. 15 @7 am) – DriveBC has announced that Highway 1, west of Revelstoke, is now clear and open in both directions.

    (Original story: Feb.15 @ 6:30 am) – DriveBC is reporting that Highway 1 is currently closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident. 

    The 0.5-kilometre stretch of highway affected is located just 3km west of Revelstoke, between Back Road and Pine Road. 

    An assessment is currently in progress and the estimated time of reopening is 8 am.
