This is some breaking news!

  • This B.C. waterpark is opening a thrilling new waterslide today

After all the hot weather we’ve been getting lately in B.C., this seems like the perfect way to cool off and have some thrills at the same time.

The Big Splash Water Slide Park in Tsawwassen is finally dropping their Boomerango tube slide this weekend, which will be the largest waterslide, as well as the only one of its kind, in Western Canada.

The slide is famous in water parks such as Atlantis the Palms in Dubai, and Wet n Wild in Las Vegas, and now B.C. will be able to experience it right at home.

Big Splash Waterpark is inviting their visitors to come and experience the sensation of weightlessness you’ll get as you rush up a near vertical 40 foot wall.

Today is the first day that thrill seekers can experience the ride, which promises to leave you breathless.

There’s also some other rides and attractions you can cool off on, like the Cliff Hanger, the Twist and Shout, hot tubs, and the Kamikaze.

For for information on Big Splash Park’s rates, hours, and more, visit their website.

While you’re at it, you might also check out the biggest waterpark in B.C., now open for the summer.
