    The Uptown Multicultural Festival celebrates our diversity in Saanich

    The colourful cultures that make up our great Island will gather for a day of celebration this weekend.

    And everyone is invited.

    This Saturday, along Uptown Boulevard in Saanich, diversity and inclusiveness will illuminate the day with music, dance, food, and exhibits from around the globe.

    On the main stage, performers will include the Lekwungen Traditional Dancers, Bollywood Beats, the Veselka Ukrainian Dance Association, Chinese Lion Dancers, Furusato Dancers, and the Celtic music of Cookeilidh.

    The family-friendly event takes place from 11 am until 5 pm and is free.
