    The Seedy Sunday event will leaf you and your garden smiling

    On Sunday morning, The Parkinson Recreation Centre bloomed with locals eager to put their green thumb to the test this spring at the Seedy Sunday event. 

    The event that has been popular in the Okanagan for the past 20 years and has recently been taken over by the Okanagan Master Gardeners within the last five years.

     Created in hopes of growing the practice of sustainable gardening, Seedy Sunday is more than just an artisan market for those who want a nice flower bed. A large portion of the products at the event are organic and come right from the Okanagan soil.

    Seedy Sunday brings together those with a passion for planting for an opportunity to find their next bushel of happiness just before spring. At the event, attendees can find everything from flower seeds, vegetable or fruit seeds, herbs and some botanical plants.

    With knowledgeable vendors and volunteers at every corner, if you have questions about how to get your garden blossoming help is always close by. Additionally, visitors and their little ones can participate in gardening workshops.
