The Regional District of the Central Okanagan (RDCO) is inviting families to get into the Halloween spirit once again with the return of the annual Spooktacular Pumpkin Walk.
Hosted at Mission Creek Regional Park, the walk invites proud pumpkin carvers to submit their Jack-o-lanterns to be displayed proudly along trails within the park for all to enjoy.

From 3 pm until 5 pm, you can drop off your pumpkin to have it entered in the “best pumpkin” competition for a chance to win fang-tastic prizes!
Don’t forget to bring an LED candle to go inside your pumpkin to give it an eerie glow.

Once the sun sets, dozens of attendees are invited to put on their costumes to stroll along the illuminated trail and cast their vote for their favourite pumpkin in categories such as scariest, most original and funniest.
Expect tons of photo opportunities and terrorific fun in abundance! The walk will carry on until 8 pm tonight, so bring a flashlight because you never know what is lurking in the shadows.
