  • The Farmers’ Market hits St. Paul Street on Sunday

Kelowna is getting a double dose of Farmers’ Markets this weekend.

After the typical outdoor market on the corner of Dilworth and Springfield Roads on Saturday, the first satellite market will take place downtown on Sunday.

It’ll take place on St. Paul Street, just north of Bernard Avenue, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Starting this weekend, the satellite market will take place every Sunday until Sept. 15.

This will be the satellite’s second year on St. Paul Street after a trial run on Bernard Avenue in 2017.

The smaller St. Paul Street allows the market to have a more consistent schedule and not interfere with other events that take place on the busy Bernard Avenue.

Around 50 vendors will be on hand, offering handmade products, fresh produce and other tasty goodies to those who make the market part of their Sunday plans.

This Sunday, of course, is Father’s Day, and the satellite market offers a great family friendly way to begin dad’s day.
