Cannabis stores are truly an… ahem, budding industry here in Kelowna.

In July of 2019, Dutch Love (formerly known as Hobo Cannabis) became the city's first store to legally sell cannabis.

Meanwhile, locations such as Mary Jane's Headquarters have been selling bongs, rollies and vaporizers for years while asking customers to go elsewhere to purchase that sticky icky. 

While there are nearly a dozen cannabis stores on both sides of the bridge, no two are exactly alike, which is why we've asked voters to shout out their favourites. 

With that being said, here are the winners for the city’s top cannabis store in Best of Kelowna 2020:

GOLD – Dutch Love

As the first legal cannabis store to open its doors in Kelowna, Dutch Love appears to have left a good impression with its customers. Offering a knowledgeable staff in a calm and down to earth setting, Dutch Love has every type of bud you need and the iPads to help you find it. 

SILVER – Mary Jane's Headquarters

Mary Jane's Headquarters has been a cornerstone of the Rutland business community and the Okanagan cannabis scene for over 20 years. While the store has never actually sold any weed, tokers walk through its doors daily to purchase everything from Bob Marley t-shirts to cannabis vaporizers. If you plan on blazing some bud later, it's recommended you stop by Mary Jane's first. 

BRONZE – Cheeba Cheebas Premium Cannabis

Looking for knowledgeable staff and the best weed around, without the uptight corporate cannabis vibe? Cheeba Cheebas has you covered with its welcoming, non-intimidating environment. Located right beside Mary Jane's Headquarters, those looking to enjoy some high times now have a one stop shop in Rutland.
