As a kid, I grew up on Vancouver Island but moved to Saskatoon when I was about 11, so BC has always felt like home to me. My wife and I had vacationed in the Okanagan a few times and decided the outdoor, active lifestyle fit us perfectly. We made the move from Saskatoon 2.5 years ago, and haven’t looked back since.

Why do you use Instagram?
I like that you can connect with a lot of like minded people. Whether it’s for finding cool hikes on vacation, talking about Jeep parts and problems or finding new camping buddies. Plus it kills a lot of time on night shift. Lol.
What will people see on your feed?
Lots of landscapes, Jeeps, our dog trip…the odd vacay photo.
Does your page have a specific style?
Trial and error…haha and I like really deep blacks with lots of contrast. I like to say “ahhhh good enough… I’ll fix it in post.”

Why do you follow KelownaNow?
Because it's shows off great local shots from across the valley. And you can meet new people with a passion for the outdoors and photography.
How do you decide on your location for shoots?
I just bring my camera with me everywhere. Sometimes you find the best shots when you are completely not thinking about taking photos.
Biggest Instagram moment?
The shot I took of me proposing to my wife. So many people that we had never met, or just knew through instagram reached out and congratulated us. We were definitely feeling the love that day.
