Why do you use Instagram?
I found the platform to be easily accessible if I wanted to follow or see specific work I could easily find it. As well as the accessibility the platform had around my own account was amazing, once I started taking my photography seriously I found the growth was inspirational.
What will people see on your feed?
I’m hoping to add a bit more to my stories section as well as make an attempt to take a different approach to my photography in the way I actually present a photo to the page. I will also be working to improve on my product and project photography.
Does your page have a specific style?
I absolutely love color, I shoot a lot of nature and landscape photography and I found that the natural environment has so many different photographic opportunities. A good portion of my page was built off my love for being outside.
Favorite Instagram accounts to follow?
There’s so many amazing photographers out there! But if I had to make a list it would have to be the following,
@Peter McKinnon
@Inside_vancouver
@canoncanada
@erikandersen
@vancouver_ig
@insidecanada
@filmmkrs
@bokeh_shotz
@vanscanada
How do you decide on your location for shoots?
My locations usually find me, I’ll be out and about and I’ll stumble upon an amazing photographic opportunity, but I would have to say my favourite times to shoot are at the golden hours (sunset & sunrise).
Biggest Instagram moment?
Achieving 1k followers and having a couple big accounts leave a like on my photography. It’s a big inspirational boost knowing people do enjoy your work.

Why do you follow PrinceGeorgeNow?
I enjoy the diversity of the page, plus it’s an amazing way for me to look into other local photographers. Another aspect I love about the page is that pretty much every photo tells a story about what is happening.
