Residents, travellers, and all those headed in and around Cache Creek can breathe a sigh of relief.
According to the Village of Cache Creek, the community is no longer under a state of local emergency.
The area was originally put under a state of emergency two weeks ago due to flooding. Residents close to the waterways inside the village were evacuated out of caution, though they can now go back to their homes.
"This flooding emergency no longer requires prompt coordination of action or special regulation of persons or property to protect the health, safety or welfare of people or to limit damage to property," said Mayor Santo Talarico.
NowMedia will update the story if any information changes.
