Update (12:50 p.m.): The snowfall warning has now been lifted along the Coquihalla Highway.
A snowfall warning along the Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5) remains in effect as of 8:00 a.m Saturday morning.
The warning was initially issued by Environment Canada Friday afternoon, as the forecast called for heavy snow along Highway 5 from Hope to Merritt.

Environment Canada is expecting an additional 10 to 20 centimeters of snow this morning before tapering off.
