If you’re travelling on B.C.’s Southern Interior highways in the next couple of days, you may come across snow.

Environment Canada is forecasting up to 10 or 15 centimetres of the white stuff near the Coquihalla Summit and over the Allison Pass by Wednesday morning.

Although amounts will likely be light, they have issued a special weather statement for the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt and Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton, via Allison Pass.

Cold air over the Coastal Mountain is forecast to combine with moisture off the Pacific to result in showers, which will turn into wet snow by evening.

Travellers are advised to watch out for slippery conditions, which can be checked on DriveBC.
