You’ve probably already heard of this anticipated film or at least some of the famous athletes involved in the production.

"She is the Ocean" follows the story of nine women aged 10 to 83, who come together over their common love of the big blue.

Featured athletes include WSL female surf icon, Coco Ho, Red Bull cliff diver, Anna Bader, and freediver Rose Molina, to name a few. 

Director, Inessa Blokhina, highly regarded as the creator behind one of the first Russian Surf movie's, "On the Wave," has come back to do it all again with her newest film.

Taking home “Best Documentary 2018” at the LA Femme International Film Festival, this documentary has been highly sought after by Vancouver Island audiences.  

Showings are set to take place at the Vic Theatre over the weekend with the first at 6 p.m. on Saturday, and the second on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Tickets are still available online for $15, however, we don’t anticipate they will be for much longer.
