The first six confirmed artists for the 26th annual Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival have been announced, foreshadowing that 2018 will be another amazing year for the festival.
"This announcement shows that we intend to once again build an artistic foundation for the festival with musicians who have deep resumes and who have experienced serious, long time success," says festival artistic director Peter North.

Known for hosting an eclectic line up of musicians from blues, folk, funk, soul and everything in between, Roots and Blues has made its way to becoming one of the must-attend BC festivals of the summer and these first six performers reflect that.
Set to hit the stage and host workshops throughout the four-day event are:
The Family Stone
Martin Simpson
Harry Manx and the Yaletown String Quartet
Rick Vito
The Paperboys
Son De Madera
The festival takes place August 16th to 19th and early bird passes are already available online.
