Tonight marks the start of the 43rd season of NBC's, Saturday Night Live, and it's kicking off the season with a few big names.

The premier will be hosted by Ryan Gosling, with musical guest, Jay-Z.

Gosling hosted SNL two years ago and couldn't get through a particular alien abduction skit without giggling.

However, Jimmy Fallon could rarely keep his laughs under wraps, and that was part of his charm. 

Whether or not he makes it through without cracking up, Gosling fans are likely to watch either way. 

The hit comedy show also added three new comedians to the roster. Chris Redd, Heidi Gardner and Luke Null are new to the show this year.

Of the three, Redd has had a bit more screen time due to his roles in Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Fat Camp and Disjointed. 

So far, Gardner has been involved in smaller projects such as SuperMansion, Ubermansion and Gender Schmender.

Null has made a name for himself in comedy as a singer-songwriter and it'll be interesting to see his talents put to work on SNL.

The three will be replacing the vacant spots of Vanessa Bayer, Sasheer Zamata and Bobby Moynihan.

Saturday Night Live airs on NBC and Global on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. E.T.
