Creators of the hit Netflix drama Riverdale have revealed that Luke Perry’s final episode will air this Wednesday, April 24.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa took to social media to announce the pivotal episode, writing:
“This week’s Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed. As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son. Wish these scenes could go on forever…
Perry passed away surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank on March 4 after suffering a severe stroke five days earlier while at home.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors sedated the 52-year-old, hoping to give his brain a chance to recover, but the damage was too extensive in the end.
Perry was best known for playing Dylan McKay on the hit T.V. series ‘Beverly Hills, 90201, a role he had for 10 years.
