Actor Luke Perry has died at the age of 52.
According to TMZ, Perry passed away surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank on Monday morning.
His death comes five days after he suffered a massive stroke at his home in Sherman Oaks.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors sedated the 52-year-old, hoping to give his brain a chance to recover, but the damage was too extensive in the end.
Perry was best known for playing Dylan McKay on the hit T.V. series ‘Beverly Hills, 90201, a role he had for 10 years.

He was thrust back into the spotlight in recent years thanks to his role as Fred Andrews, Archie Andrews’ father, in the CW series ‘Riverdale.’
‘Riverdale’ was renewed for a fourth season on Jan. 31, 2019.
