This is some breaking news!

  • Risk of showers today with potential thunderstorm this afternoon

An unsettled weather pattern will bring another risk of showers to Kelowna today.

After rain overnight, there will likely be more of the wet stuff throughout the morning and even a chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon.

“A moist southerly flow will bring in clouds and the risk of showers today. This flow will persist into Friday keeping a wet weather pattern in the forecast to round off the work week,” says Wesla English, NowMedia meteorologist.

“The unsettled weather pattern continues for the first part of the long weekend, however signs point to drier weather for Sunday.”

English says the daytime high will be in the low 20s today, despite the cloudy and rainy conditions, but will dip back into the teens as we head into the long weekend.

Have yourself a wonderful Thursday, Kelowna, those three days off are just around the corner!
