Local rib experts are aimed to take over Bullen Park in Esquimalt for an off-the-bone tasting and a way for the community to connect with mouth-watering results.

From September 9th to 11th, BBQ will take the stage for the drive to make more open play space in Esquimalt.

There will be contests, tastings, a beer garden, and more.

The organizers say: “Our project is to provide Esquimalt with an all-weather playing field. Esquimalt is the only core Municipality without an all-weather playing surface or turf field.”

Who knew ribs were so deliciously helpful?
