Simply recycling isn’t enough; repurposing and reusing have a much bigger impact. This year, Footprints has saved over 100,000 plastic bottles from being thrown into blue bins.

The store doesn’t only preach these values, they practice them by producing only one garbage bag of waste each month!

How does a refillery work? It’s quite simple actually! 

You can bring in your old containers as long as they are clean and empty. They will sanitize and weigh them and you can fill them to the desired level.

Forget your containers? No problem. Footprints has a free glass jar repurposing program. You may also donate your jars to keep this program going by bringing in your clean unlabelled jars. Check out their refillery guide for more information.
