UPDATE: Missing snowmobilers rescued after night in the backcountry

(UPDATE: 10:30 a.m.) – North Okanagan RCMP are now reporting that the missing snowmobilers have been found.

Details remain limited but the two men are reportedly "safe and sound" despite spending a night in the Fintry backcountry near Bouleau Lake.

(Original story: 8:30 a.m.) – A search has begun for two missing snowmobilers in the Bouleau Lake area.

Details are scarce, but RCMP has confirmed they are currently engaged in a search alongside Vernon Search and Rescue.
