RCMP are asking for public assistance to locate a hit-and-run suspect after a collision Saturday morning.
The unidentified person fled the scene at about 10 a.m. after colliding with a cyclist on University Way near UNBC. The victim remains in hospital.

The fleeing vehicle was described by witnesses as a black 2016 to 2018 GMC Sierra half tonne pick up truck. Anyone with information on the event is asked to report it to their local CrimeStoppers or Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300.
If you were involved in the collision, RCMP is asking that “you do the right thing and come forward and speak with our investigators,” says Staff Sgt. Steve McLeod.
The Prince George Municipal Traffic Section, in co-ordinance with the North Districts Integrated Collision Analyst/Reconstructionist Service, are continuing their investigation into the incident.
