  • Rain won’t dampen busy weekend in Kelowna

    Grab your umbrellas and put on your rubber boots, the rain will continue to fall in Kelowna.

    According to Environment Canada, “a few showers and a risk of thunderstorms” will continue until 5 p.m. and then it will change to “a chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms”.

    On Saturday night, there is a 40 per cent chance of showers.

    Rainfall amount is expected to be between 5 and 10 mm and there is a UV index of 3 or moderate.

    On Sunday, it will be a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. 

    When it comes to Center of Gravity, the website says it is a rain or shine festival, so festivities will continue as scheduled.
