Well-known children’s entertainer Raffi is coming to put smiles on the faces of Kelowna kids, hitting the stage twice—not once—at the Kelowna Community Theatre.

Thanks to the interest in his first show, the singer, songwriter and author has added a second performance in Kelowna on Oct. 23. Now, he will be singing at both 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Raffi, who has multiple gold and platinum-selling recordings, is a recipient of the Order of Canada and the United Nations’ Earth Achievement Award.

In a statement, he said he’s looking forward to performing for families again.

“As well as singing many of my fans’ favourites, I look forward to sharing a song or two from Love Bug and my new album, Owl Singalong,” he said.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at the Prospera Place box office, online or by phone at 250-762-5050.

Proceeds benefit the Centre for Child Honouring.
