Prince George RCMP had to be sharp as they responded to a hit and run collision involving a car and a bike on Thursday. 

According to police, at 5:30 p.m., RCMP received report of the incident which occurred near the corner of 1st Avenue and Claxton Crescent.

Frontline officers attended the scene to find an injured 14-year-old biker. Initial indication was that a Nissan crossover style vehicle collided with the bike and fled the scene. The cyclist suffered relatively minor injuries and attended the hospital as a precaution. 

Police are now looking for a charcoal grey Nissan Crossover with likely damage on the rear passenger side. Investigators are looking to speak to the driver and anyone who witnessed the incident.
